blogger authorization deprecated

I was directed to this group by goodreads support .. so here I am (not sure if this is the right place).

I've been using the "publish to blog" function (with a blogger blog) for a while now and it suddenly stopped working. Since I couldn't resolve the issue, I ended up deleting my settings and tried to re-authorize with blogger using the blog settings (https://www.goodreads.com/user/blog_s...) which leads me to this: https://support.google.com/a/answer/6...
("If your application is still using the AuthSub authentication protocol, please update it to use OAuth 2.0 instead.")

Do you have some feedback on this? Thanks!

Hi Janina,

Thanks for letting us know! It looks like Goodreads is using an old way to authorize your Blogger account, a way that is no longer supported by Blogger. We'll need to update things on our end to use the new, supported method, Oauth 2.0

I will file an internal ticket for this issue, and let you know when it's fixed!
