A citation in my independent reading book that i think is interresting is " so she ended up a daylight lover, and it was only once actually that sula came home from school and found her mother in the bed,curled spoon in the arms of a man." " thaught sula that sex was pleasant". I chose it because it explain that sula seeing her mother with a man in the bed could made her think that sex or sleeping with man is not a problem. sula may try to have sex and thinking that it 's fun and happier. also sula maybe disappoinding about her mother.
