((Nice!))Dex noticed a few squirrels up on a tree
Shadow hung back slightly to let him do the hunting.
He slowly circled the tree, getting closer every time. when he reached the tree, and checked on the squirrels, he wrapped his legs around the trunk and vibrated them, forcing the squirrels to fall down. As they fell down, he quickly run to them and killed them.
Shadow watched him. "Wow, you're good at this," she said.
Dex half-smiled "you learn some things while living here"
"i guess so," she replied. "So I take it you know how to skin them too, right?"
"Skin them? well I can try if you want"
Shadow shrugged. "I just thought it's typically what you were supposed to do before eating them," she said.
Dex chuckled "sometimes there's no time for skinning. And I don't really mind eating them without skinning, so I never thought to do so"
They hunted for about an hour, and gathered a lot of food.
Shadow helped carry some of what they'd gotten.
Shadow opened the door and went inside.
Shadow sat what she was holding on the counter.
"If you want to cook them, I think we can find something here..."
"Yeah," shadow said. "I've never been much of a cook, but I'll see what I can do." She started opening cabinets.
Dex looked around as well "I found a pot!"
"Success!" Shadow said, and laughed. She raised up her have to high five him.
Dex blinked, then high fived her a bit nervously "are you alright?" he asked "you seem... more delighted than usual"
Shadow shrugged, slightly embarrassed. "Yeah, I was just trying to lighten up a bit," she said. "I'm not very good at it I guess."
Dex smiled "nah, you're doing great. I was just a bit surprised, that's all"
Shadow chuckled. "I was a bit supposed myself."
"Yeah, well I think I am," shadow said with a smile.
"you'll need a fire to cook, right?" he asked
Shadow nodded. "I don't see a stove, so yeah."
"Well I can light up some sticks with stones..." Dex suggested "but I'll need the right stones for that"
"firestones" Dex said "I know where to get them from though"((I'm so creative XD))
((XD ))"Would they be in the forest?" Shadow asked him.
Dex nodded "they can be found on the mountains nearby"
"Wanna go?" Shadow asked, "or is it too far for today?"
((Lunchtime I think? I can't remember really))
"Yeah, we could make it to there and back" Dex smiled
What shadow was good at was not being detected. She crouched silently behind some bushes.
