beginning of shatter me

i was so confused about the beginning of the book. I wish the book started with a flash back so we knew what she could do.

I didn't find the beginning confusing, and I did actually like the first book a lot, but the second book pissed me off. It seemed like she had made so much progress in the first book toward leaving her meek, victimized character into a strong young woman and then during the second book she went right back to it. It was annoying.

I loved the first book I just thought the begging for was confusing and Ya I agree with the second book thing.
