Stephen light | 62 comments I finished the Ghost King a while ago and forgot to put this in here but i am curiouse. What now? Now that Catti-brie is dead along with regis and wulfgars gone. What now? I liked the Ghpst King dont get me wrong but the ending greatly saddened me. I wonder is going to be some short story to wrap it up or will Geno continue with Drizzt. If anyone knows anything on this please do tell.

Salvatore will probably go on with Drizzt, Geno has his own character and storyline going on anyway. I also don't think Salvatore's going to stop writing until he croaks.

Stephen light | 62 comments OO never say that! Ever I dont even want to think of such a thing! True to the whole geno bit though.

He's about fifty by now I think. He's still got a long life ahead of him. So does Geno.

tiailds Does killing off these characters a means for Salvatore to forward to the hundred years in the future that was at the beginning of this trilogy? Since they're not in the normal afterlife, is there a chance of seeing them again? All Ghost King did was kill good guys and ask more questions without answering any.

No idea. But I've learned that he is 3/4 of the way finishing his next Drizzt book, so we'll see.

Stephen light | 62 comments sweet!! What is the name?? I would like to look it up?

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

No idea... he hasn't posted anything as of yet. Most likely release date will be in October, as usual.

Shawn (stk_kreations) | 9 comments His contract for the next 6 Drizzt books isn't supposed to go in effect until next year.

This series could have been two books: The Orc King—just to clarify the dwarf-orc treaty—and The Ghost King. I didn't really care for The Pirate King, it really did nothing to further the story and was a pretty slow read for me.

I am a little saddened that everyone is now dead, although Bruenor may still be alive. However, it is probably time to introduce some new characters for Drizzt to settle with. Maybe he could have stretched it out a little more if he wouldn't have lapsed so much time during this last trilogy, but he usually doesn't disappoint so we'll just have to wait and see.

I still have a bunch of his work to read, so I won't be missing Drizzt for awhile. haha

Stephen light | 62 comments O ok cool! I cant blame Salvatore if he starts to not make as good Drizzt books. I mean he has like what? 20 some books of drizzt. SO he must be running out of really good thrillers like his others. But still cant wait!!

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

I actually can't wait to see what happens. Because now- warning: spoilers!-
Jarlaxle is into a deep relationship with Drizzt, and I want to know if Jarlaxle does find Catti-brie and Regis in the odd place they're in.

message 12: by Stephen light (new)

Stephen light | 62 comments How did you learn that!? And i know he is getting deeper in the drizzt story but how will he find them. remember that place was set aside by Drizzt's godess(cant spell the name) so I think its like an inbetween world like the one catti-brie was stuck in the ghost king. Who knows will have to wait and see i guess.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Jarlaxle promises Drizzt that he'll find Catti-brie. It's right when Catti brie is riding off with Regis and Breunor and Drizzt are trying to stop them.

Stephen light | 62 comments O ok i think i remember this from the ending of the book. I think so anyways. haha

Shawn (stk_kreations) | 9 comments Wow, he's not taking any breaks this time. Good news!

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, he's already 3/4's of the way done. But it's hard to get any hints about what's coming up next.
