Do I need to read the other two books to enjoy The Viking's Captive Princess?

The Vikings Captive Princess was written to be a stand alone book. Although certain characters reappear, there is no continuing story or arc from the previous stories. It is more a chance for those who wish to to revisit the world I created.
Personally I always miss the first book or two and so it can be annoying to have to go back. And for this reason, I made it stand alone.

Sounds like a very good reason! I also dislike books that one must read all the books in series in order- as sometimes it isso difficult to find earlier books!
