Charlotte Guzman Hi Everyone,
My name is Charlotte and live in the Atlanta, GA area. I have lived in this area of the country for since 1996. I love historical novels as me favorite kind of read. My mother gave me my love of reading.
The era's I love are English royalty (especially the Tudor era), World War II, Egyptian history, and I have been into the middle eastern history. Fiction of course.
I joined this group to get other suggestions on all kinds of cultures and periods of history.
I look forward to having discussions and giving you some of my favorites and suggested reads.
Happy Reading!

Charlotte

J.J. Fielding | 2 comments Hello. My name is Jonnie and live in London. I've written a historical novel set in London in the days leading up to and during the Great Fire of London, 1666. Theres a bit of romance, some adventure, villains and quite a lot of fire. It's available for download on Amazon, so if anyone fancies giving it a whirl (it's just a couple of quid) please do. It's called Sixteen Sixty-SixSixteen Sixty-Six

Pamela Allegretto | 17 comments I'm Pamela Allegretto and I live in Moodus, CT. Nazi-occupied Rome sets the stage for my novel Bridge of Sighs and Dreams, where the lives of two women collide in an arena of deception, greed, and sacrifice. My research included interviews throughout Italy and translating documents and publications. The discovery of personal letters and journals augmented my study. The consistent manifestation of hope, scribbled across those abandoned pieces of paper on which the ink now weeps, afforded a valuable glimpse into the Italian sentiment during this horrific period. I have not altered facts to fit my fiction; instead, I utilized truth to enhance my characters and their story.
