Elsbeth (elsbethgm) I'd like to read The Black Moth by Georgette Heyer.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. This is on this group bookshelf, but most versions seem to be well over 250. :(

Instead I will nominate O Pioneers! by Willa Cather.

message 4: by Greg (new)

Greg I nominate The Fox by D. H. Lawrence.

message 5: by Holly (new)

Holly (whatwouldhollydo) How about Animal Farm?

message 6: by MiA (new)

MiA (mirhershelf) | 125 comments I second Holly.

message 7: by Melanti (new)

Melanti I was browsing and I saw this: Tales of Men and Ghosts. I had no clue that Wharton wrote ghost stories!

But it's not the proper ghost story season, so I'll nominate Summer instead. It's a more proper nomination for June.

Greg Melanti, I remember liking The Ghost Stories of Edith Wharton when I read it a while ago
