Angie - Ok.. below are my picks for you. Hope you enjoy!

The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness - hahaha. So, I just added books 2 and 3 to my schedule for Feb/March, so I'll do a BR with you if you get to this one in Feb. (I need to know what happens in it!)
Undone (Will Trent, #3) by Karin Slaughter - I have to pick this one when I saw it on your list. One of my favorite authors and is a great series. I love Will! 😍
Stolen in Death (In Death, #62) by J.D. Robb - Another solid choice. Love this series.
Cat & Mouse (Alex Cross, #4) by James Patterson - I recently started this series. It's on my 2026 goals to do one a month. I'll be getting to this one in March. Solid series.
Undead and Unstable (Undead, #11) by MaryJanice Davidson - picked solely based on the title!
Ruthless Vows (Letters of Enchantment, #2) by Rebecca Ross - To add some variety to this list.

I'm not a cozy fan. I keep trying though because I do have a couple of series books that I am reading, but it's not my favorite genre. It's the covers that get me. I see a cute cover and think I will get a cute story. Most of the time I'm disappointed, but every now and then I find a hidden gem.

message 50: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2678 comments Completion Post - Book 2

The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan

Book - The Lost Hero
Author - Rick Riordan
Date Read - 2/18/26
Rating - 2 Stars
Review - I loved The Percy Jackson Series, this not so much. I was a bit bored, never really connected with any of the characters, had zero feelings about what was going on and felt like it was a chore just to get through. Every time the female narrator spoke, it was like listening to nails being scraped on a chalkboard. Sorry to everyone who loved this, I wanted to, but just couldn't. I will not be continuing the series.
