I hate Jacob because he is so selfish and disregards the fact that Bella specifically tells him whenever he brings it up that she doesn't want him like that. He constantly tries to force her to love him and even forces a kiss on her when she doesn't want it. Meanwhile Bella is so desperate for a friend because she's extremely depressed and all he can care about it's his own selfish feelings for her. Also, he keeps telling her she doesn't know what she wants and she really loves him and doesn't know it and acts like he's the only one who knows what's best for her when she is a human being with her own thoughts and feelings separate from him. This is not in any way okay! This is very realistic because guys many times disregard what we say and think they can just control our emotions and feelings. It's ridiculous. If he truly loved her or cared about her and thought of her like an actual human being, he wouldn't be doing any of this. Jacob is a shitbag.

I don't HATE Jacob but I don't really like him! I always thought it was kinda dumb of Jacob to come in the way because SHE IS GETTING MARRIED TO EDWARD! But it was a interesting plot twist. The love triangle is kinda weak though but I hate almost all the love triangles except Will Jem Tessa from TID!

Hey-o, I'm a little late in the game because I wasn't interested in Twilight when it came out. In fact, I was forced into watching New Moon, but I couldn't help but refrain from commenting on this.

I read Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse so far.

Eclipse is the WORST one so far. Not only because Bella is freakishly whiny and can't make up her mind and strings along two dudez and seems to urge Jacob on to go after her while reminding him that she already has a boyfriend, but because Jacob is sort of a jerk in here and sort of unhinged.

I mean, who threatens to kill themselves to guilt trip their love interest into kissing them?

I understand that Edward is more "nicer" about the whole love triangle thing because he's more mature than Jacob, but good GOD that doesn't stop Jacob from being so freaking annoying!

Also, the "nice guy" act is utterly idiotic! When are boys going to learn that you're not actually a nice guy if you have to go out of your way to be nice and then expect sex or your love interest to fall for you.

On another note, the characters I actually cherish are the side characters! Especially Alice. She's bae. I wish Stephanie Meyer wrote a book on her. Like really? You'll write a book on some insignificant secondary vampire that appeared like in one chapter but not about ALICE!?

But that's another rant for another time.
