Heart on Fire by Brandy L Rivers - My review: 4 stars
I love Brandy more with each book I read.
Mila was hurt and looking to have one wild uninhibited night of fun to get over it before she moved on. Her heart was trashed and she swore off love.
Six years later her sexy neighbor seems to be the one to put her heart back together. Will he accept her daughter as part of the package or will he break her heart again.
I love this concept is sweet and refreshing. Depth in the characters makes this a real page turner. I couldn’t put it down.
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

4* Firstly, I would like to thank Lila Felix for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The story follows Crown, an injured, self absorbed sports star, who is having to degrade mentally from 'superhero' to an unknown, reliant on others, dumped superhero (albeit still as handsome). Luckily, his neighbough, in his new flat happens to be Lyla, a gorgeous model, with a good heart and bucketful of patience; which was good for Crown, because I found him very annoying. Lyra, has her own personal problems to deal with that are catching up with her fast.
The story follows them both ( alternate chapters) allowing the reader to view from both sides how they each cope with their new neighbough's hang ups and their attraction for each other. A sweet story, but for me it did not move fast enough and I got a little fed up with being told how nice Lyra is and how Crown expects to be worshipped. I got it the first time. I suppose, I did not find the characters 100% believable, but the idea of the story was good.
The author, really understands how to craft a romance nail biter, right to the end. Did they or didn't they get together? Need to read to find out.
