How do I delete/remove an ebook that is no longer being published?

I took this short story ebook out of circulation, making it no longer available to read. I replaced it with an e-novel with basically the same title but with a new ASIN number at Amazon where I sell it. Is there a way to rid my Goodreads author page of the original and replace it with the e-novel? I'm still learning the ropes here, so any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Paula. That is unfortunate. They are different books and should be listed as different books. Although their titles are similar, the stories are uniquely different and should not be listed as the same book.

contact the goodreads librarian group for help.

1) The information should be listed in the description field, not the edition field or the title field.
2) This information should be added to any existing description. It should not replace it.
3) The information should be listed discreetly. No all-caps, italics, or bold, please.
4) No sales links or other external links. A link to another edition on Goodreads is fine." -- https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3...
Authors also get to set which edition is featured if that helps. That is, set the currently available edition as primary/default/featured edition and mark all the no longer available ones as such. Effectively hides all but featured edition from many goodreads members.
And in the case of a never-published or canceled-publication book you can email support or use contact form in help screens to talk about it. No promises but they do say "...if your book was never published and never will be published, we might be able to remove it." -- https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2...

Thank you, D.A. I do have books that are no longer in print and I want my readers to know that.

You can do that (note at bottom of book description) or you can request a librarian do for you—whichever you prefer. It's usually helpful when only that edition is out of print if you put a link to the edition that is in print on goodreads (that link, to a book on goodreads, is usually the only link allowed on a book description).
