i LOVE writing fantasy!!

message 204: by [deleted user] (new)

fantasy/teen romance...I just like it because whatever I write can never happen and its cool to create my own world that I can disappear into

message 205: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol thats ttly what im doing with my new shortish story but ive been lazy and kinda dont knw if i shud go on... :-/

message 206: by [deleted user] (new)

I completely understand. I just stopped writing a book because I realized that I was only writing it for my friends at school. I hated the plot and the characters in it. But my friends loved it. Anyway, my teacher found a kind of explicit scene, so out of embarrassment, I stopped writing it.

message 207: by [deleted user] (new)

Ooo i can c where tht wud definitely b embarrassing..
Well mine i only wanted it to b a short story so only like 6 'chapters' like up on goodreads, i just haven't been all that excited about it like i usually get with my stories y'knw?

message 208: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. My friends kept telling me that I needed a sex scene in my book, but I couldn't do it. I'm not that imaginative, I guess. I had tried several times before to write one, but I just felt weird. So, when I finally wrote one, my friends took the last page of it and started reading it and then the teacher took it up, thinking we were passing notes. It was so embarrassing.

message 209: by [deleted user] (new)

Aww..wow. That must have been really embarrassing. :/ At least she didn't read it aloud..?

message 210: by [deleted user] (new)

Oooo ouch i wudv died!

message 211: by [deleted user] (new)

no...she just read it and then had me explain the plot of the book. I'm just glad it was only the end and not the whole thing. I wanted to die in those moments when she was reading it...UGH!!

message 212: by Kyle (new)

Kyle Ruscigno Recently, Dark fantasy. Gorry, mosters of all kinds, yet all the more interesting, especially to write. I love to come up with ideas and plot. Usually i carry around a sketch book, and quickly sketch down and write a few short lines about whatever i think of. My teachers hate it, but i hate them, so it goes hand in hand.

message 223: by ~(PierceTheVeil)~ (new)

~(PierceTheVeil)~ (piercetheveil) I like to add elements of everything. YA romance, thriller, mystery/suspense, FANTASY all the way, adventure, real life fiction.

message 224: by Mia (new)

Mia (mia__) | 2 comments I love writing fiction, although I've been really drawn toward the idea of writing some Urban Fantasy. I've been timid about it, but I guess the best thing to do would be to dive right in.

message 225: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (betweenmypages) I usually write Science Fiction and Fantasy. Lately i've been focusing much more on sci-fi. I have no idea why, but it is giving me more ideas than fantasy right now. I write some realistic fiction as long as it has big twists and lots of drama.

message 226: by Blanca (new)

Blanca (blancadaver) | 32 comments This may not be relevant to some of the topics going on - but you people inspired me to write, so here it goes:

How would you feel about living in a circus? Do you think people in the circus feel like we do? Do they go through money problems too? Or are they people who have ran away from their lives?
