Mine are usually YA Romance with other things possibly mixed in.
Romance, a bit of drama, and usually a bit of fantasy mixed in.
im trying 2 figure out what im best ati write realistic fiction mostly, but im going 2 try our some fantasy after nano is over caz i got a rly cool idea :)
Oh, horror, duh. I'm being forgetfull today.
My fantasies are usually urban too.
i feel rly dumb, but whats an urban fantasy?
Like WW or Twilight or Mortal Instruments. A story that takes place in present day, but has fantasy elements.
Urban fantasy is usually more modern fantasy. Like, it's not set in a castle in a distant land in the middle of nowhere, but in a city like New York. It can still be in older time periods, but it's generally more modern.
And I just barely figured that out, so don't feel dumb... hahaha.
oh i get it now :P ok so now when anyone mentions urban fantasy i can feel un-dumb XDokay, that sounded pretty dumb

the problem is my chapters r rly short so i only have... 3,671 words so far :'(
At least it's harder to get stuck on shorter chapters, though. My good chapters are usually around 15,000 characters, and I get stuck all the time. I've been working on one for like a month and a freaking half, and it's not fun. But oh well.
im sry :(that happens sometimes...but u just gotta keep at it :D
Thanks. Haha. I think Bethany and Nathan are just boycotting me because they're mad about... certain... events... that may or may not happen later in the story...
aww im sry :( its not so good when ur characters read ur mind, is it? :Pive learned 2 put up a wall in my mind :P but they sometimes break through..........
Haha. I shouldn't play the GTKYCG anymore, because that's when they figure out what's happening. =] But that game is too fun!!!

so we have a lot of urban fantasy writers here......by the way horror writers how do you make your writing horror?? by adding yucky monsters or what??

haha i do paranormal too!! and im working on the huge series... it's like three different series all related.... but some are going to later be sorta mixed into a bigger series then there's going to be the last series where they all meet... and theys like two or three series each level, there's three that you have to read before the other series, then one or two more... ect...
i only had one other story it was a romance really, my nano...idk wat it is its like, realistic fiction kinda with a little bit of romance

Uhh...fantasy or realistic fiction. Lately I've been writing more realistic fiction, but if you take all of my stories I've ever written the majority would be fantasy.
I mostly write fantasy. In fact, 99.9% of my stories are fantasy. I'm only writing one realistic fiction story.

Realistic Fiction is pretty amazing, I've written a few pieces, and those who know me and have read them say I tend to bribe in MY reality into the stories, does that happen often to others?Lol I just write whatever's pinching at my spinal cord, usually poetic stuff that doesn't make sense lol
not sure. Only in the middle of my first official story, though i have heaps of ideas and notes. probably: FANTASY, ACTION, a little ADVENTURE, perhaps a bit of horror thrown in.

u mean like a role play? no. holly dislikes them, as do i.
No, I think they mean like a group story where everybody writes a different part of the story...in my experience, those fail rather epicly.And for the record, I don't like roleplays either.

I think everyone has a different writing style and a different thought process and it generally just ends up being a big nonsensical mess.

Yeah, group stories fail.
And I HATE ROLEPLAYS WITH ALL MY HEART.
hate roleplays theyre stupid and pointless and for desperate girlsto invent new lives for themselvves vicariously thru their characters.

I did enjoy the WW roleplay. For the five minutes that it survived. But that was kind of different. I think I'm biased.Other than that, though, ROLEPLAYS ARE OF THE DEVIL.
