Lindsay | 546 comments After two and a half books of the Qersnyk culture I can tell that it's soaked in because I got shivers up my spine at this part of Chapter 15:
“The colt is named Afrit, for the desert demons that plague our Rahazeen enemies. I am Re Temur Khagan, and my Khaganate will be founded under the auspices of the Ghost Stud. This is the first year of his reign!”
And then it's immediately followed by the Toragana Tsereg telling him: “You have bull’s balls, Khagan."

Lindsay | 546 comments Temur Khagan can heal with a touch and the armies gather for war.

Temur's group properly reunites with Tsering and the Qersnyk and Rasan refugees, Temur's grandfather lead Edene and the ghulim to Dragon Lake and (view spoiler) EDIT: sorry, that's a spoiler for Chapter 22.

And there's a Dragon under Dragon Lake.

Meanwhile the enemy forces gather as well with discontent in the forces of the Nameless from Ümmühan and Saadet. There's a lot to admire in both these characters, but they're still clearly on the side of the Nameless.

I don't know why that didn't occur to me earlier...like when they were all talking about the name of the place, and the fact that the SKY DIDN"T EVER CHANGE. After all, we knew there were mist dragons in Tsarapheth, why not dragons in other places?
