Thanks Rick!
Welcome Sophia. I'm a new member too. Not sure what number I am, but I'm sure it's somewhere close to yours :)
Thanks for inviting me to join the group, Rick. It looks great. I love suspense, both reading it and writing it. I just finished reading the Stieg Larsson trilogy yesterday. Does anyone think the fourth and final in the series will ever be finished (by someone else) and come out?By the way, I'm an author myself. I have two thrillers, launching a brand new series, coming out in the US soon: YOU ARE NEXT on 9/28, and NEXT TIME YOU SEE ME on 10/26. They'll also be published in the UK starting April of next year, along with a couple of other novels I've written.

Thanks for the welcome Larry and yes I have read some of them but not all - enjoyed them very much. If you can recommend any other authors let me know.
Thank you for the invite from me too! I love any conversations on books, discussing the books I've read is almost as fun as reading them.I'm so excited to go read all the topics!

Thanks for the invite to your group, it looks very exciting! I am a single mom that works in education. I have been contemplating the idea of opening a bookstore near my home. Until then, I have also been working on my Library Science degree. I love to read and read a wide variety of levels and genres. I also enjoy writing reviews on books once I have read them.
Hi all, I'm Tabitha and I write YA. My agent is currently shopping around my first novel, so I hope to have good news to report soon. Thanks to Rick for the invite!
Ciao. I'm CJ--multilingual impishly inclined Russophile, witticismer--fond of fairy tales, whimsical fiction. Er, quite Chestertonian. Writer and author of short stories. In literature, I tend to give the greatest vote and attention to the most disengranchised--the dead, da? And I love new tales that have dust like old; makes genres like steampunk inexcusably fun.
Adele wrote: "Hi my name is Adele, and I love all things books. I can be quite picky when it comes to reading. I love reading books and the Movies/TV series they are based on. I have numerous (over 50) classics ..."Welcome new members. I am so behind in names that I can only say it's a great place to discuss books of all genres.
I want to weigh in on The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. I've had this book on my shelf forever. The pages have turned yellow. I'll re-read it soon. I had the wonderful experience of seeing the musical shortly after it left Broadway and arrived in Chicago. The sets and design put me in touch with the spirit of the Phantom. Even down to the water tunnel and boat ride with Christine. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Rick, here I am! Thanks for the invitation, :-) For everyone else I'm Anastasia, or Ana. I'm English, a student, now post-grad, an avid reader and a mad blogger! My tastes are huge and varied, in both fiction and non-fiction. My favourite authors include Dickens, Dostoevsky, George Orwell, Malcolm Lowry and James Joyce.
Hi Anastasia and all the others! Welcome to your new group. And don't forget to scroll down, down, down to James Mason Group Fun Games!
Thanks for the invite, Rick, and I'm glad you enjoyed reading my short tale, Hoffman's Creeper. I'm currently reading Reginald Hill's first ever novel 'Fell of Dark'. This is definitely a classic British novel, plenty of mystery, action and suspense - I don't know why it's taken me so long to get around to reading it though!
CJ. wrote: "Larry--Ladna. ^_^ Ana--Oy, I love Dostoyevsky; I read Karamazov every year."
A super novel!

You know I once got banned from a forumn for saying hello to a Russian member in his tongue! I discovered he was russian and simply said Privet, kak dela? and they banned me! Crazy!
Hya i'm kayleigh, thanx for the invitation Rick. I love reading pretty much anything but my favourite books are paranormal romances. they're awesome
Hello everyone! i was extremely glad for the invite! I love to read. I always have. I was the kid who always had ehr parents order at least ten books at a time from those scholastic book clubs and then could never carry them home! I will also lose hours in a book store and have broken several ourses from trying to stuff in my book! YOu can't leave home without one! I like to read just about everything. So I am alsways looking for good recommendations. I also just started reviewing books for a book blog. I would love to figure out how to do it as an actual job someday but right now would just be happy to read and review some free books- since my purse strings won't allow lots of purchases!
OMG i was also the kid in school who made my parents buy loads of books from the school book magazines. then my mum had to come and meet me from school so that she could carry them. i spend hours and hours in book stores and end up spending all of my student loan on books that have absolutely nothing to do with my degree. oops its an addiction.
Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be redoing my books, making them Young Adult, paranormals. I would love for everyone to check it out. I'm in the process of rewriting Head Games, then I'll do Bad Company and Darkness Falls. They're going to be so much better. Now the first book in the series is called, The Betrayal. It should be coming out by the end of October. I'm going to have a book signing event at my church for the young people. I've spoken to the manager of my local Barnes and Nobles and not only is he going to stock my books in the store but he's going to host a book signing! I'm so excited. I'll let everyone know more about the details when I know. Thanks! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. 0 comments
