Meryl (meryl_yourish) Hi all. Rick invited me, and when I saw the name "James Mason" I was hoping it wasn't the name of the guy who started the group. A Star is Born is my favorite James Mason film, followed closely by Yellowbeard. Yes, I'm either eclectic or a little crazy. Probably both. :-)

I'm also a Goodreads author. Nice to be here! (You have seven and a half hours left on my giveaway.)

Darkness Rising: Book One of The Catmage Chronicles

Some of my favorite authors: Mark Twain, Patricia McKillip, Shirley Jackson. Many, many more.

haha! welcome Meryl..no- my name is not James Mason! indeed I started the Group to honor his memory..he is my favorite actor! interesting that you mention Yellowbeard..Love that movie! Marty Feldman's last film..Also it was one of several Mason films that came out after James Mason's death..he truly acted up to the end! and he was brilliant from start to finish..check out The Shooting Party- in which he was the star- and also came out after his death..magnificent performance!

My name is Chasta Schneider. Like many of you, I am an author. I have just published book one of my new, mature YA series Death's Gift to Sabrina. Before that, a romance thriller entitled The Missing Chapters. I've even dabbled in erotica. :) I am always interested in the works of other authors so,for those of you who like to trade books for reviews, feel free to get in touch.

I have no favorite genre, which is probably why I tend to write in many different ones myself. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, Stephen King, and J.R.R. Tolkien if that tells you anything.

I'm always up for a good book discussion. Thank you for the invite.
