Maybe I'm just dense, but I didn't understand how what the Fargos discovered rewrote Aztec history or was a threat to the Mexican president.? Can anyone answer this? Thanks

I think he wanted the Aztecs to be completely indigenous. He did not like the idea that they emigrated from somewhere else.
