Elemental Magic Epic Fantasy - Fly with the wings of Icarus

Maybe its just me but I do feel like there arent enough fantasy authors out there that write epic fantasy with elemental magic. I am the type of person that loves to see those wizard battles where energy beams collide. Those fantasy books and movies where mystical creatures have epic battles on land and sky.

You know what I am talking about. That Avatar The Last Airbender Feeling. That Final Fantasy feeling of adventure where the real world seems to be a dream and the story is all that matters.

Well let me share with you the first Chapter of my story "Sin of Mages,"

Synopsis

"Good and evil are but illusions of reality. Purpose and conviction is the true essence of existence.”

For many years Akielas had traveled the world of Odealeous in search of the masked apprentices that betrayed him. When he finally found them and learned of their malice plot, he was overwhelmed with guilt and remorse of his past. He was willing to do whatever it took to stop them from using the remnants of the dragon gods. But he cannot do it alone and so he gathered allies that he had acquired throughout world. With swordplay, element and summoning magic, four warriors and mages from different countries pledge to help Akielas stop his apprentices who now go by the name “Specters.”

Auron, adopted son of Akielas. A great swordsman and mage trying to return the stolen treasure that his tribe has been guarding for millenniums. His bloodline has led him to discover mysteries about the pioneer of magic and possible solutions to stop the Specters.

Eckxio, a non magic Elf with a rare ability called extromancy and wields a sword that can vanquish all that is darkness. The only Elf of his kind. Before he wed the beautiful forest girl, Willow, his village was attacked by fiends and so he swore to bring peace again.

Willow, a girl raised in the forest by Elves and the insect humanoid race called the Greamos. She is a powerful magus and healer. When the Emerald Cosmo Jewel is stolen from the Greamos, Willow seeks Akielas for help and prays that she can reclaim the jewel in time before the Greamos cease to exist.

Ganicus, a prince from the desert country. He joins Akielas after unlocking the power of a legendary relic that he took without permission from his father, King Mahamuth. The relic has been kept in his dynasty for centuries and he was the first to use it since the time of the pioneer of magic
