Novice, Elitist, and Apprentice is a term to classify someone's stance and control with their powers.

An Apprentice has yet to even Ascend and therefore will be considered a liability if they are positioned with more power when they have yet to even amster their other abilities.
As a title is given more powers are able to be unlocked.

Given that Caster's are the only ones in a Coven with no true title and make up the majority of a Coven it is best to say that less is more. Ones ranking has nothing to do with the amount of powers or number of abilities they possess so much as it has to do with how much knowledge of their powers they hold and their position from Ascension. Caster's only hold five abilities as they have no reason to hold more. An Apprentice will have five powers but that does not mean they know of all of them right away. A Novice is quite aware how to unlock those unknown abilities. While an Elitist is a master of all of their abilities no matter the number.

GatbsyLover20 (dclover) Could I make four evil witches/warlocks that each control one of the four elements

message 54: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
Every Witch has power over one of the four elements. Read powers and abilities.

message 55: by GatbsyLover20 (new)

GatbsyLover20 (dclover) Yes but these bring it to a whole new level

message 56: by GatbsyLover20 (new)

GatbsyLover20 (dclover) Like possessed by evil nature spirits level

message 57: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
Yeah there are no evil nature spirits in this rp. Sorry.

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
If you desire an evil character make a Wraith. The commit murder on their day of ascension to become darker and more powerful.

message 59: by Julia (new)

Julia Hiya! Would I be aloud to make a girl who is a witch but the daughter of an ex-witch hunter (who would be dead) and lives in the county but wears an iron necklace so doesn't actually know that she is a witch? I'd have her be sixteen... Is this okay?

message 60: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
That's completely fine.

message 61: by Julia (new)

Julia Awesome!

Then I could rp her discovering that she's a witch!

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
yep

message 63: by KT (last edited May 05, 2015 01:46PM) (new)

KT (queenlykt) | 1346 comments When Sleepwalkers/Familiars change, what happens to their clothes? Does it just vanish and is it still there when they change back to human, or does it tear off? etc.

message 64: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
I certainly wouldn't tear off. Familiar's undress before shifting. Every day a Sleepwalker must remove their clothes ebfore nightfall at which time they shift. If they were a small bird their clothes would suffocate them. If they transform into the less common creatures like a bear then they will rip if not removed. Most are smart enough to remove their clothing though.

message 65: by Julia (new)

Julia What if they don't change their cloths and were a dog, say a golden retriever?

message 66: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
Then it would be a funny looking golden retriever trying to wear and walk in a shirt. The pants would most like just fall off.

message 67: by Julia (new)

Julia Hehehe lol okay

Puddingtalk (Marie) (puddingtalk) | 14 comments What kind of freedoms do sleepwalkers have that are restricted?

message 69: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
well they aren't freedoms if they are restricted lol...but I understand your question.

Sleepwalkers are forced to turn into their animal form every night until dawn. They are watched closely by the Coven given they would not be Sleepwalkers if they did not commit an act against the Coven. Sleepwalkers are forced to answer the call of the Coven whenever it may be no matter the situation. Should they fail to do so consequences are severe. Think of it like someone being on parole after being out of jail. The Coven will keep tabs on them and they are forced to check in when the Coven says so. If they fail to do so they get punished. The Coven acting as a parole officer will keep tabs on them and make sure they are obeying the laws and being good little dilenquents. After a year and a day of being a Sleepwalker with no troubles they are made into Familiars to prove they have earned the respect of the Coven once more.

Sorry if this doesn't help I'm willing to help out a bit more.

Puddingtalk (Marie) (puddingtalk) | 14 comments Oh man that question was badly worded. It's been a long day. But thanks, that helps a lot

good glad to help

message 72: by Julia (new)

Julia How many powers would a regular Caster have? Or a novice? Or apprentice? I'm confused.

Would a Caster only have Spell craft, Telekinesis, Telepathy, Heightened senses, enhanced conditioning, and potion making? And no other unique power? O.o

What about someone who isn't Ascended?

message 73: by Julia (new)

Julia And what is the difference between animal morphing and shapeshifting?

message 74: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
All witches have those basic abilities.
A Caster holds five abilities.
An apprentice is not yet ascended therefore they have not unlocked all of their five abilities.
A Novice has ascended but not yet mastered fully all of their powers.

A shapeshifter can take form of anyone while animal morphing takes shape of an animal.

message 75: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
If they are not ascended they have not mastered all of their abilities yet. Every Witch starts with five powers period whether mastered fully or not. Once a Witch reaches Elitist ranking more powers may be unlocked as they push their limits. A caster with extraordinary powers will be examined by the Elders and High Priestess for the Seven Wonders. To acquire more the five abilities and remain a caster one must apply for such a thing by pming me. This is not something I dish out very easily or generously. In want a good reason for it and I want you to make me believe you have earned it.

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 116 comments Would it be possible for a witch to have been cursed into being a familiar as well as immortal?

message 77: by Julia (new)

Julia Okay :)
I don't know if you have it, but what would talking to animals be, power-wise?

KT (queenlykt) | 1346 comments sucre'd fiend wrote: "Would it be possible for a witch to have been cursed into being a familiar as well as immortal?"

They become immortal once cursed as a sleepwalker, and remain immortal once familiar, though if their witch dies they die too.

message 82: by KT (new)

KT (queenlykt) | 1346 comments What happens when a Seer gets a big vision? All I have to run on are my ideas, and do we really trust those?
-Blood tears
-Extreme skull-splitting head ache
*Sensitiity to light
*Sensitivity to sound
-Maybe heart rate slows, and if it's too long can completely stop, though when vision is over there's a 95% chance of it restarting on it's own when her consciousness is back in her body.

message 83: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
I like it. As the Seer I'm giving you close to free range as far as things happen and how they happen. I feel that each Seer would be affected by the gift of Sight differently. They hold their own methods for reaching into a vision and different attributes can occur during involuntary visions. SO it sounds pretty good to me. Maybe it depends on the intensity of the vision in question. When a couple ask to be blessed in marriage and to have children perhaps the intensity of the future will prove such a thing as far as it affecting her.

message 84: by KT (new)

KT (queenlykt) | 1346 comments Yeah, I'm just using that for the more intense ones. She's not going to get them from just brushing against someone and seeing a glimpse of the person running on a beach or whatever. But if she has/wants to try to see one and truly tries to concentrate, then the side-effects come into play.

And is it okay if I have it that she feels something's off about Damien, but hasn't spent enough time around him to know for sure and as such hasn't told anyone, and only suspects something, though she's not sure what she suspects.

message 85: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
Absolutely fine by me. That goes into play with Damien trying to keep others from touching him who hold the sight or any other form of sight. He tries his best to avoid contact with such people.

message 86: by Julia (new)

Julia Question! On my second character in the workshop, are the first two gifs showing up side by side for you? I'm on an iPad so they aren't...

message 87: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
no it is one on top of the other.

message 88: by Julia (new)

Julia Dang it. Okay.

message 89: by KT (new)

KT (queenlykt) | 1346 comments <.img src="LINK" width="##" height="##"./><.img src="LINK" width="##" height="##"./>

Delete the periods. For the "##" thing... That will be height and width. So make the height the same on both. It looks better if the width is the same too but it's not always feasible. Sometimes the picture gets stretched, so if it's stretched wide just make the number smaller, and vice versa. Same if it's stretched vertically, just make the height smaller. If it's compressed, make that number bigger.

message 91: by Julia (new)

Julia Power Bestowal and Negation are two different powers, right?

message 92: by KT (new)

KT (queenlykt) | 1346 comments No problem, glad to help! :) it can be a pain in the ass at first, but eventually you get it lol.

message 93: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
@KT, Thanks, you are a big help.

@Julia, Yes Power Bestowal and Power Negation/Nullify are two different abilities. Power Bestowal is ONLY possessed by the High Priestess...

sucre'd fiend (sucredfiend) | 116 comments How does a mortal become a secret keeper for the coven?

message 95: by Eros (new)

Eros (spiritually_evolving_always) | 1958 comments Mod
The High Priestess bestows the powers upon them. This is only done to mortals who have Witches in their family hence why they would know about Witches.
