I like it, but I notice in many groups when one makes a human they lose connection to the more popular species of characters in this case witches.

Make sure you have a way to stay connected to the others too.

Maybe her dad was a witch in the coven before he was in the military, so the coven had at least heard of her? Plus she'd be fun to RP with Damien, because she has Pain Asymbolia (the inability to register pain as a bad thing.)

Not quite. Basically, you know how when you get cut or something, you register the pain both physically and emotionally? With pain Asymbolia, she doesn't get the mental side of it. You could cut off her arm and she wouldn't react.

Oh yes...it is much like my sisters ex. He would often practice with his swords and he had me slice at his arm and he didn't react, flinch or show any sign of experiencing the pain. He said he felt it, but it didn't phase him that pain was taking place.

Ok I'm rethinking this. I think I might want her to be a Sleepwalker or a Familiar, but I'm not sure. I don't have a witch for her, and I already have a familiar. Yet she's excellent at doing what she's told (when she respects the one telling her.)
It wouldn't take much to switch her character from human, just add some history. Thought?

@KT, It is all up to you sounds good to me either way. I love to see characters develop. I haven't been disappointed by any of your characters yet.

Ok. If I do make her a SleepWalker I'd probably just have her have killed a witch as part of her military job. That coven would have been pissed and then made her a SleepWalker. I'd have her at right around a year, so if someone wants to have her as a familiar it works, but if not I can still RP her.
Do you think I should?

Ok alternate plot, same timing (yearish). I already have in her history that her and her unit got captured at one point. Maybe during that almost all of them were cursed, since some of te captors were witches? I personally think that makes more sense, since then she wouldn't be trying to hide during missions as they'd all be SleepWalkers.
But I can't make decisions so opinions?

I like your idea. It seems interesting a whole new meaning to desert wolves haha. certainly would give them a military upper hand given animal instincts are stronger in sleepwalkers and familiars...I like it.
