But how are you carrying this dying man up the stairs? Even on a stretcher that would be hard, and might be too much movement for the patient. This is why in an emergency people are kicked out of the elevators for patient transport. Some hospitals even have keys so that the crash team can use the lifts without having to stop on every floor. You can't carry someone upstairs on a stretcher whilst performing CPR.

It's not like they carry stretchers with them when going on patrols. If they carried him across the city, it would certainly be faster to carry him 1 floor up instead of wasting a minute waiting for the elevator. Their job is to deliver the wounded to Doc at the speed of light, not try to save him on the run (aside from bandaging the wound, of course). Just don't forget that they don't move like ordinary people :)

First aid is given right away, then they fly straight to the infirmary. I would agree with your idea of it if it was a longer trip from the entrance to the infirmary, though. But when it's less than a minute, there's no reason to slow down the process by trying to help the wounded before Doc gets to do it, I think.

I'm feeling the story way unbelievable. I'm gonna rant a bit, sorry about that.
(view spoiler)[ First of all, I think Jane is ok, but I don't like Pain. I get that she's damaged and its all a front and she has feelings she's trying to protect, but I just find her annoying, bad tempered, rude and irresponsible. And Dave is also really immature and annoying.
I can see that Chad is gonna fall for Pain, and that Jane likes Ryan. But I feel zero chemistry between the first two, and it feels forced. Also, I don't get most of their conversations and jokes, they seem so childish.
The work in pair thing doesn't make any sense. And in the attack at the apartment there were like, what, 20-30 bad guys? I mean, really? They have so many bad guys to spare? How many ghost does Eugene convinced to work for them? They feel like orcs just throwing themselves in a lord of the rings kinda way.
Now, this next mission makes absolutely no sense. They are gonna send Jane alone to see if she hears something? It feels so naive. I can't belive this is an organization of supernatural beings.
Also, I'm guessing there is a traitor among them. I'm thinking Jerry. But I don't really care. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ see the plan about sending Jane into their enemies head quarters is absolute bad idea and it makes no sense or anything. Pain finds it so vague and well iffy when she finally finds out and I can see her point completely let's go into enemy territory and hope they don't notice us? Like when is that going to work when she's half of the two highest killers at the ghost agency, surely the beasts were taught to watch out for those two explicitly ...... And really like pain was ever going to let her sister sacrifice herself for such a stupid mission in the first place (hide spoiler)]

I've been reading this but also reading other things and it's okay, but not gripping.

Pain and Jane (view spoiler)[got along well enough and were good partners. But Pain was a Pain and I was surprised that Peter put up with her sulks and attitude. Obviously, they must be some of their best agents, since Peter was willing to put up with her.

I was very impressed when Jane held the 2 boys up while Pain cleaned up the Beasts. But if there had been more Beasts outside, they would've been easily killed. (hide spoiler)]

Chester/Chad - (view spoiler)[since when is Chad a nickname for Chester? I was surprised that he was the original target of the Beast attack. Why?! I liked him bringing out the softer side of Pain. I LOVED him replacing Pain's book.

I cannot get over that the Sky Ghosts were just an employer (view spoiler)[ and the fighters stayed and battled against Zhorr because it was their job. I know there are mercenaries for hire who protect dangerous men for money, but I think the Sky Ghosts being a cause or calling would've been more noble and understandable.

The first time a bunch of my co-workers were attacked and mowed down, I would've changed jobs.

I liked the tough heroines and the premise of Sky Ghosts. I don't mind the budding romance, (view spoiler)[ but the girls parading around in their underwear was a bit much. Also the Sky Ghosts not taking women besides the girls was sexist. And they didn't really explain why they only took guys.

Chad grabbing Pain and pushing her against the wall was a little too rough for me. I'm not a fan of idealizing man-handling or bruises in the heat of the moment being sexy. And I found Pain's rudeness and temper annoying, not mysterious or dangerous.

Chad and Dave and the girls all seemed very immature. The teasing, tantrums and sulking were very middle school-ish.
