ABANDONED. book from 70s or 80s - cat get stuck between buildings

I'm looking for a book I read as a child in the 70s or 80s about a cat/kitten (possibly white) that falls or gets stuck between buildings in a city. Sound familiar? Thanks!

Sorry- I should have provided more detail. I remember it as a child's picture book. I don't remember much about the illustrations. It wasn't Blue Boy, but thanks so much for responding!
