Edward and Bella's relationship?

I think you have your timelines mixed up. You make it sound as if she was with Edward one minute, and as soon as he left, she shacked up with Jacob, and then went back to Edward. When in fact this happened over a long period. Do you recall the blank pages in New Moon? Bella was catatonic for months after Edward left. She only met up with Jacob almost 5 or 6 months later. And if you do remember correctly, she never actually kissed Jake in New Moon. Remember? They were close in the kitchen, and Bella was still comparing Jacob to Paris, when the phone rang. Stopping them before anything could happen.
The never actually kissed until Eclipse, which was almost a full year even after that. To which point, she never voluntarily did so. Even the second kiss, was for his life, and she went into that with great trepidation. I agree she fell for Jacob and it meant more to her than it should a girl with a boyfriend, but I would never call Bella a cheater.

Jacob kissed bella twice(i believe)not over and over again. Edward and Bella got married after knowing each other for about a year and a half, which isn't long enough to get to know each other in my opinion but it's not short either.

Cool. But now, as you can see, those views are on the foundation of a timeline that is incorrect. However, if they have other reasons, I think I could understand. They just have to be able to back them up. ;)

It's cool, friends don't need to hear that all the time. Sometimes I wish that, too. :)

Now, I didn't say it was the right way to do things, but sometimes, relationships just move fast.
First love. You fall hard. And you fall fast.
Then you cry for weeks or months.

You have to have a strong heart. So make sure to visit your cardiologist before jumping into any relationship.

Fuuny!!!!!! but seriously you have to!!!!
*Nods Professionally* Yes, I know what I am talking about. People come in with broken hearts all the time.

It was Jake's fault that Bella kissed him the first time, but Jacob wasn't fully responsible the second kiss. And cheating is still technically cheating, whether the person cheated on gets upset or not...Not that I think Bella cheated, I'm just responding to your reasoning.
Edward and Bella started dating around end of March,
Broke up September. Next year- End of March get back together again, Bella is not very committed to him as she kisses Jacob several times and quite honestly prefers spending more time with Jacob. However Bella and Edward marry in August. It just seems like Edward and Bella were only together for a few months and that's not even discluding the time whilst Bella was "cheating" on Edward. It would seem a slightly pathetic relationship to someone who hadn't read the books.
It's all just getting into the perspective of Twilight-haters and I don't believe for a second that. In my opinion the relationships within the books are...desirable?. Although, I would like to know your views on the matter.
