Hello all, looking for a contemporary fiction book, written in the 2000s, probably male author, my copy from the library had a mostly white book jacket with black or red lettering.
The story is a breakup between a man and a woman told in small sections, and somewhat told in reverse, or with a choppy timeline. I believe the alphabet had something to do with it, too; for example: "A is for adultery..." and then the narrator would write on that theme. It's a small novel, in size and in pages. I would love to find it again. It was poignant and heartfelt moreso than comical or angry.
OMG that is it exactly! Thank you so much. Isn't it crazy how we immediately know once we hear the title! And then I think, "How did I not remember that?!"

Thanks for any clues you can give me!
