I am reading Magic Bites. I had this on hold b/c I just wasn't getting into it. Now, I think I am in the mood for a little magic after reading Storm Born.
I am going to try and get my challenges done.. though atm I am reading Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat - which is a VERY interesting book.
I'm still reading
. I kept getting distracted by Uncharted 2 so I didn't get much reading done yesterday. It was really neat though, because of Halloween, in online multiplayer mode everyone was either a skeleton or dead settler. Super fun. I'm sure I could finish Grave Secret in a few hours if I'd quit fooling around on here though.

Kenjii wrote: "Isn't Uncharted 2 a rockin' awesome PS3 game, or am I getting something twisted?"Yeah, sorry if my stream of consciousness was hard to follow. Lol.
Well I play online games. So M/p to me is online b/c at home I play solo on the PS. That's cool. I follow =D.Hunters The Beginning is an EC selection so the sex saturation is expected. But so's the romance. I am a bit leery because this is a vamp/shifter PNR the sexual element is being pushed all the more. The H/H don't have anything in common except how much they love to do each other. The couple instances of allowed emotional breakthrough are like 'oh yeah this is an erotic romance better add some depth'. Too harsh? Alas I'll attempt to finish to give a proper rating and challenge count.
I'm about 40 pages into The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson. Can't say that I'm liking it. Too accurately descriptive about severe burns. I don't need those thoughts floating around my head before I go to sleep.
Kenjii wrote: "Well I play online games. So M/p to me is online b/c at home I play solo on the PS. That's cool. I follow =D."Ah, I getcha now. Uncharted 2 has both a single player and online multiplayer mode. I haven't even started the single player game yet, I'm so addiction to playing online. This is honestly the first time I've ever wanted to play a game like this too. I pretty much play everything but FPSs and war games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, although my main loves are RPGs and survival horror games. Lately though it's just been really satisfying to run around and gun down people online. It's so cathartic. ; )
I used to watch my boyfriend play Call of Duty and think it was so boring, but you really have to experience it firsthand to understand why it's so much fun.

I like any and all games that appeal to me. But mainly spend money on Guitar Hero for my PS and time management /SIM games online. I am a solo player but to spend money on a MPOG it'd have to be really fun! I liked FPS like DOOM [for PC:] or swordplay like Soul Calibur.
I am a gamer myself, though I play MMO's mainly, but I have enjoyed quite a bit the FPSs a time or two :)
I have heard a lot of Call of Duty so I been thinking of getting it.

Going to get back to Hunters [*sigh*:]. Just want to finish so's I can swap it already. Went out to my fave Mexican Restaurant and had 7 mares soup *slurp*! LOL. I am SO stuffed I have to just kick back and read while food digests.

World at War comes out soon I think.

And man, I haven't played DOOM in forever. I think the last time was on the Sega 32X, lol.
Eh, tomatoe, tomahtoe =D. My sis started me on GH and I am a faithful fanatic. I got like 7 of them. Sega! I haven't found another FPS I enjoyed as much as DOOM. The mission[background:] the levels were cool. Racking up all that ammo. Plus the movie was even cool!

I have the soundtrack! It's not that good though ... I bought it for the remix of the NIN song.

on Sunday then started reading
. Love it so far!"Hi Shannon,Are those Grave books by Charlene any good?
Katt wrote: "Hi Shannon,Are those Grave books by Charlene any good?"Yes! The first book was a little slow though. The second book was better, the third was awesome, and the fourth was a great end to a fantastic series! But I could be biased because I'll read just about anything she writes.
I love her Sookie books but I haven't read any of her other books. So I better start reading them too lol.
Lets see... I just finished Lover Avenged, and I loved it. I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can find out what happens to Xhex. Right now I'm reading The Darkest Night, and so far it is really good.

"Oooooh! Is it good? I've got it on my list ....
Just starting Susanne Brockmann's Hot Target and an anthology called "Real Men Last All Night". Hooyah! Plus I've got 6 more from the library checked out to last me for the next week . . . :)
*grin* Kenjii, its about time! BTW, I started HOT PURSUIT, not Hot Target (both by Suzanne Brockmann). Oops!
Cindi: I totally wish I could stick to reading Broken and finish it [I just may:]. Patient Zero A Joe Ledger Novel v Jonathan Maberry and Anansi Boys v Neil Gaiman came in to the Library from ILL. So I want to get started on those. I once thought I had a few weeks to read them and so I was taking my time, then when I went to renew them I saw someone else wanted them!CR:
I am reading Burnt Offerings by Laurel K. Hamilton. So far it is really good, I started the series years ago and put it down b/c I got bored, I last month I started them all over again and I am enjoying them a lot more this time.
Patient Zero A Joe Ledger Novel is reading like Max Brooks' World War Z An Oral History of the Zombie War, but on a one on one personal level. I like the formula so far. Seems like I'll have to give this a day or so focus to really gnaw through the 400+ pages before its due.CR:
Finished both
and
last week, both 5 star books!I started both
and
this week. Need started off kind of boring and it was hard to get into because of all the dialogue and inner monologue and no description. But then I kept reading and it got really interesting. There's these glimpses that something isn't quite right with the town and the teenagers in it. I'm really curious to find out what's actually going on. And I have a fear of looking out windows when it's dark out, I think someone will be out there looking back in! So, there's been parts where this book has creeped me out!
I'm reading Going Bovine at work and it's really funny but I haven't gotten far yet. I'm hoping things pick up for Cameron though because his life pretty much sucks and it'll get depressing to read about if things don't change soon.
I fnished
and thought it was a great second book in the Nocture City saga! I'm now reading
by Angela Knight

I have Ravenous. I'll try and work it into a challenge. Right on I am in deep with current reads. I liked Edge of Hunger. Rhyannon Byrd's Last Wolf series was good as well. I liked Book 1.

I'm really liking Edge of Hunger. I think I have her wolf series books in my TBR pile.

Glad you liked it! I'm holding off so I don't blow through them. I'm gonna read Frostbite for my M book in the read the month challenge for December.
Damn girl. You have way more patience than me. I probably won't be able to read anything else till I finish all 4. LOL
