This is not a librarian issue, more for Feedback, though I will answer it here.When you go to the edition you have not shelved yet, under My Review are 2 options:
Review this edition
Switch to this edition
By choosing "Review this edition" you add this edition to your shelves (and keeping the first also).
You don't need to review, you can just add it to your shelves.
