Ella didnt say anything, she just stared at the musky wooden floor of the book floor. What would it feel like to learn your family is not really your family? It must feel really sad, for the people you told all your secrets and feelings to are not really the people you share blood with. "Oh." Ella finally said.

"But anyway..." Cole rubbed the back of his neck, blushing slightly. He liked flirting with girls, it was his thing, even Nathan was better at it than him.

Ella raised her eyebrows. "Yeah?" She asked, suddenly curious. Cole was like a total mystery to her. And Ella liked mysteries. Especially this one.

Ella grinned. "Something like as a date?" Ella couldn't help but ask. She didn't want to tell Cole that she was almost 18 and she hadn't had a boyfriend yet. Ella hadnt had time for relentioships anyway. But maybe, just maybe, she coukd break the rules. "Because if it is, then yes. I'd love to."

Ella looked down at the book she had her eyes on for almost years. " The cafe sounds great." Ella says, looking up. "But you dont really have to buy this for me. Its too much." Ella says, putting the thick book back on the shelf.

Ella smiled at the prince. "Ok then. Thank you. I've always wanted this book!" Ella said slash squealed. She was finally getting the book. Thank god. She did not wait to wait a day longer.
