Mishelle LaBrash (mishalabrash) | 397 comments Where do Jamie and Ian find Claire's shoes when she is lost in the woods and she sees the ghost? (From Drums of Autumn)

message 305: by Carren (new)

Carren Kay | 953 comments On the front porch of their cabin?

message 306: by Mishelle (new)

Mishelle LaBrash (mishalabrash) | 397 comments Yup.... You got it Carren... Ian's dog brought them to Jamie and Ian... Your turn.

message 307: by Carren (new)

Carren Kay | 953 comments Because I'm at my office, this will have to be from memory. I hope I even remember the answer.
What was the name of the soldier that was actually killed, when Claire got Jamie out of Wentworth prison?

message 308: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments Shell I think we are led to believe that the Ghost brought them to the porch and set them there. From that Rollo followed the scent to find Claire.

message 309: by Mishelle (new)

Mishelle LaBrash (mishalabrash) | 397 comments No, I don't think so... I think that The ghost led the boots to the dog, was how I understood it, and the dog brought them to Jamie and Ian....

message 310: by Carren (new)

Carren Kay | 953 comments I think what happened was that Rollo sensed something outside, Jamie and Ian went to investigate and found Claire's shoes on the porch. Then Rollo led them to her.

message 311: by Mishelle (last edited Nov 15, 2011 12:18PM) (new)

I had to look up the guy's name, but I believe it was Marley, BJR's mentally deficient servant.

message 316: by Mishelle (new)

message 317: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments I believe it was amongst the newsclippings and papers in all the boxes at Roger's

message 318: by Sue (new)

Sue Erickson | 673 comments Carren are you talking about the guy Claire ran after and killed so he wouldn't run to the prison to tell he had seen Jamie and Claire?

message 319: by Leah (new)

Leah (leah_moss) | 91 comments Shell wrote: "Wasn't it in old boxes etc, while helping Roger with the clean up of his Uncle's place?"

No, it wasn't in any of Roger's boxes or in any of the Reverend's things.

message 320: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Leah wrote: "Where did Brianna find the newspaper announcement about her parents' death?"

the only other place I can think of is in her mothers things..after she returned to Scotland to try to get back to Jamie.

message 321: by Leah (new)

Leah (leah_moss) | 91 comments HINT: she had to travel somewhere to follow a hunch...

message 322: by Carren (new)

message 328: by Carren (new)

Carren Kay | 953 comments This incident with Bree going to the Carribean happened in DOA

message 329: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments Shell wrote: "So strange... Why don't I remember Brianna even going to the Caribean.."

yeah..when did she go there? lol

message 330: by Carren (new)

Carren Kay | 953 comments In DOA Roger discovered that she had gone through the stones to look for Jamie. When they both finally met up, she told Roger that she had discovered the article while in the Caribean, looking for anything on her parents. The article is what prompted her to go through the stones.
At least that's how I remember it.

message 331: by Leah (last edited Nov 16, 2011 04:21PM) (new)

Well, the very first thing he says when he sees her is: "About three minutes after I last saw ye-- Sassenach."

Then...after he touches her it's: "You're real."

I kinda have that scene memorized. LOL

message 341: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 288 comments I guess I have to read these all again!!! I don't remember this stuff! my brain must have a leak!! lol

Yeah, I just re-read that scene last week...so I remember it vividly. She walks in the shop, his back is turned so he thinks she's Geordie...she says she's not Geordie that she's Claire and he turns around and gawks. She asks when he broke his nose...that's when he says what I put...then he touches her, whispers she's real and THEN he faints. LOL

It's one of my favorite scenes! I'll read it by itself every so often.

Jen (at last!) (jenkeith) | 1052 comments Ok, let me think of a good one...

This is from Outlander:

What's the saying Jamie's mother would say to him when he was a bairn? (hint: Claire overheard Jenny say it to her son, too)
