Carol | 193 comments I just looked up the perfume on google to see if it still exists. - I LOVE the description!l'Heure Bleue - Guerlain | Sephora
www.sephora.com/l-heure-bleue-P0766
Sephora
A heady blend of roses, iris, and jasmine, laced with an intriguing background of vanilla and musk. L'Heure Bleue is intimate, emotional, and utterly refined.

message 1253: by Carol (new)

Carol | 193 comments Of COURSE it would be 'UTTERLY REFINED' if Claire wore it!

message 1254: by Mary G. (new)

Mary G. (nonometoo) | 319 comments Thank you for looking it up. It does sound "utterly refined". I wonder how much it costs.

message 1255: by Carol (new)

Carol | 193 comments On the Sephora ad it is $76.00 and is only available on line.
I didn't look for it anywhere else, but it is probably available somewhere. I would love to see what it smells like, but not to order it just to find out!

It was at Beardsley's trading post.

Diana Little | 11 comments Amelia you got it!

message 1290: by Mary (new)

Mary Joseph-Alvarado | 195 comments ChristinaRae wrote: "What person prompted Claire's return to Scotland in modern times?"

Claire goes back to Scotland to visit in 1968 however Frank was killed in a MVA (lost control of the car on black ice) after having an augement with Claire about taking Brianna with him when he goes on sabbatical...and leaving Boston altogether and getting a job at Oxford taking Brianna out of her senior year of high school to go with him and his mistress. Claire was not invited,,,,

message 1291: by Mary (new)

Mary Joseph-Alvarado | 195 comments ChristinaRae wrote: "Is it the 'white lady' or 'white witch'?"

La Dame Blanche translates to the white lady.....which is someone associated with the mythologies of Celtic traditions.

message 1292: by Mary (new)

Mary Joseph-Alvarado | 195 comments Megan wrote: "Was it Frank? I can't remember"

Frank knew that Jaime survived Culloden but never told Claire....he places a headstone by Black Jack's for James Fraser stating he was the beloved husband of Claire.

Claire and Brianna travel to Scotland in 1968. Frank died in 1966.

Roger, Brianna and Claire research what happened to Jaime after Culloden...surviving Culloden does not mean he is still alive or what happened to him. They need to find if he is alive, what happened to him and where he is if he is still alive.

message 1293: by Mary (new)

Mary Joseph-Alvarado | 195 comments Diane wrote: "On which finger does Claire wear Jamie's ring?"
She wears Jaimes wedding ring on her right hand because in Scotland the right hand is the marriage hand and she kept Frank's ring on her left hand.

MJ | 207 comments Mary wrote: "ChristinaRae wrote: "What person prompted Claire's return to Scotland in modern times?"

Claire had promised Frank that she wouldn't tell Bree he wasn't her father while he was alive. He died, and she had her incident at the hospital, from which they put her on desk duty. She took it as the right time to take Bree over and explain it all to her. Jamie was 'obviously dead', so she asked Roger to track his men so that she would know the end of the story before she started. Plus, she promised the guy she helped suicide that she would check out his home town(?) back in Scotland when he died (can't remember the name)

Tanya (tanyaoemig) | 6 comments I'm prepping for a trivia contest so have read all 26 pages of this thread! Seeing no new trivia questions posted in a long time, I'd like to ask one....

Margaret Campbell provided intelligence to Jamie through her Jacobite lover during the Rising. When Claire meets her 20 years later, she is catatonic because of trauma suffered after Culloden. What was name of Margaret's long lost love?
