Megan, it was Graham Menzies, a Scottish cancer victim who Claire helped die. She was then removed from patient care and given an administrative position, which loosened her ties to the hospital, which was sort of the last straw for her.

I thought that Bree was her catalyst. She wanted to show her scotland and tell her about her father, the real one.
Kelly wrote: "What is the name of Claire's cat?"The cats name is Adso. It was also the name of a cat that Jamies Mother had before she died.
Yep; "da mi basia mille" which is supposedly "and a thousand kisses more" but I don't believe that's a literal translation . . .
Hmmm...in Echo, what are Claire and Lord John doing when Jaime suddely appears from the dead at the door?
In the book (DIA), it seems as though Claire is saying "da mi basa mille" is translated as the phrase "and a thousand kisses more" (at the end, talking to Roger). "Give me a thousand kisses" seems like the right phrase to me, too.
ok, I'm going to go for an easy question to get this thread going again. Name one object that Claire brought through the stones with her in Voyager.
Kelly wrote: "PB&J wrapped in plastic wrap."hmm.... I can't remember that one specifically. I'll have to check my book when I get home to see. Any other guesses?
BTW, totally off topic... but I think this group should have a reread of the series. Would anyone be interested? I want to reread them again anyway to brush up on some details and see my beloved Jamie ;) I think this read through I will Definitely take notes on anything important or funny, and probably mark the sex scenes too, lol.

I just joined in the read and can't wait to start. I miss these books so much. They were my first romance books I ever read(go big or go home huh? lol) and I haven't read anything as good as these yet.

Claire did some healing and Murtagh sang in the taverns of the towns they passed through; she did a bit of singing and fortune telling as well.
Dorothy wrote: "Didn't she do some fortune telling?"Yes, she did. And, it proved to be a very useful skill for her.
