We don't learn the mission of this renegade group until the end of the story. What had you speculated until it was revealed?

How funny! It's the reason I knocked off a star:) I love being able to at least try to solve the mystery before it's revealed and there wasn't a way to do that in this story. Otherwise, I thought it worked.
