Why I Wrote the Guys Who Spied for China

The Guys Who Spied For China I wrote The Guys Who Spied for China because it tells an intimate and personal story about Chinese Espionage Networks operating in the United States and some of the conditions we are facing today. Most of this story is never known and has not been explored. As the story is based on my own experiences working with a person responsible for uncovering these spy networks, I wanted to write something not commonly thought of in the spy genre. I wanted to write something that was quirky and often darkly humorous exploring the nuances and complexities and what it really feels like to be suddenly thrust inside that world.
