Charlotte picks the silky white dandalions from the field of flowers while humming a tune her mother always sang to her. With images of her being the queen danced through her heads, she blow softly on the dandalions she freshily picked. The ball was only a couple days away, and that was the best time where she could show she was leader-worthy.

Rin entered the forest with Copper in tow. He shook with excitement, however he wouldn't go until he had his mistresses permission. Rin laughed "Oh okay. Knock yourself out!" and with hearing that, Copper ran into the woods before Rin could blink. She sighed and sat down at the foot of a tree and leant her head back and closed her eyes. She thought about the ball. She smiled as she thought of sweet Adam, charming Castiel and brave little Christina. However, when she thought of Ciel, she didn't smile as she remembered that he was probably kissing some other girl right now. 'So what if he's kissing someone else?' she tried to tell herself 'But if I don't care, then why does it feel like someone's tearing my heart slowly and painfully?'. Its hard to tell your mind not to love someone, when you're heart still does.

Mirror ran into the woods hiding behind Rin, carrying somthing in his mouth. Adam followed soon after. "Get back here!" He yelled "I swear to the gods ab-" He stopped mid sentence seeing rin.

Rin squeaked as she felt a tickle on the bare of her back. She turned to see Mirror. she tickled him in-between his ears and looked up to see Adam "Hey!" she said with a sweet smile.

"Hey!" He said "I haven't seen you since the ball, how are you" He said, still glaring at Mirror.

Rin laughed as she saw Adam glare menacingly at Mirror " Yeah the ball was good. I think I enjoyed meeting Christina the most" she leant down to whisper in Mirror's ear "I see daddy's angry with you"

"Don't talk to him" He said, gesturing to Mirror "He took my watch" True to Adam's word, Mirror had a shiny silver watch hanging out of his mouth.

Rin giggled and turned to Mirror "Come on buddy! Daddy wants his watch back" she held her hand out for Mirror to hand over the watch in.

Mirror wimpered but gave Rin the watch. Adam eyed the fox "Do not think this is over mister" He seethed

Rin scratched Mirror appreciatively "Thank you Mirror" she then got up and handed the watch back to Adam

"Thanks Rin" Adam said taking the watch. "So, are you happy you made it through to the 2nd round?"

She smiled appreciatively "I just can't begin to explain how happy I was" her face suddenly was clouded with uncertainty "Except..."

Adam felt somthing turn in his stomache, what if she knew he thought. "What?" he asked

She sighed "I guess it's hard not knowing which prince pulled you through and then you fear of hurting them" she looked at Adam "I overheard my maids talking about princes having two relationships at once and I'm just worried.....that maybe...." a tear rolled down her cheek. I'm worried that Ciel is one of those princes she thought as the tears started flowing a bit more.

Adam looked flabbegasted "oh shit" He said, running a hand threw his green hair. "This isn't good"

Rin laughed shakily through her tears as she wiped them away "I don't even know why I'm crying. It's not like him to do something like that, right?" as she said this, she was reassuring herself more that talking to Adam "I didn't even cry when I found out my parents rejected me"

Adam looked at Rin with pity in his eyes "Rin...I am so sorry" He said, he knew what Ciel had done, and now he was paying the price for it. He was breaking Rin's heart.

"Ciel...He" Adam couldn't even finish his sentance. He was disgusted with Ciel, he wanted to throw up.

"He's..e's one of them?" she asked, horror evident in her voice. her body gave up on standing and she sat on the ground , looking completely betrayed. "He did that?" Her tears started flowing "Is he that shallow?" she whispered to herself. She hugged her knees. Copper had returned from the forest as soon as he had sensed his mistress's distress and now sat whimpering and licking all of her tears, as if to say Please don't cry

"He is really the only one...that I know of...last I checked he was making out with Alanna" He said blandly

Just when Rin had thought things could't get any worse. Her tears had stopped. She had run out of tears "How could I have let that cheating bastard steal my first kiss?". She was cold and felt like she had a fever. She hugged her legs for warmth. She hated Ciel with every cell in her being "I never want to see his face again" she whispered, her tone determined, but hurt.

"Rin" Adam said touching her shoulder "I know Ciel, we bloody played toegther whenever I came over for balls or important court meetings, and....he isn't....you know what? I shouldn't even be damn defending him, you are right to feel how you feel, Rin" He said his voice growing from Calm to pissed.

Rin felt like she was on the verge of having an angry outburst, but as soon as Adam touched her shoulder, she relaxed a bit. His touch was reassuring "Well I just don't know who to trust anymore"

Rin smiled weakly "Thank you" it was nice to have a friend other that Selena to support her. She just still couldn't get over the fact that Ciel would do that "I bet you he's sleeping with her right now" she said miserably "I guess he never liked me" She tried to keep the hate out You were just a plaything her inner voice taunted He never loved you.
