Wow... So many people really liked this one and if ever, this is going to be my first Kinsella book.

That's unfortunate Mei... I love all the books I've read my her, but this one is just too much, although I like it more than Tati. I think I'll give it a three maybe :) But let's see what I think about the rest of the book :)

What do you mean too much? I've read a review that they were offended because the author was telling the book in a fun way when it's about illness. Maybe I'll pass for this, read some of her better-recommended works.

OK I'm at 30% I can see everyone's side of the story, the parents, not great parents, but I'm thinking they're supposed to be like that, it's over-the-top, and it supposed to be funny., Mom and Frank working out together, hilarious! Although I do have to say it is an interesting topic do you have in a humorous book. But maybe that is needed, I'm bias, I love this author!

Oh, I know, I love her other books. I think now I've read more, I like the narration and such. (view spoiler)[I really like how Audrey narrates the story as if she's actually talking to the reader. (hide spoiler)] Have you read any books by Madeleine Wickham? That's her real name, and to be honest--I read --and I didn't like it. I'm saying this as I'm surprised the author's the same and was just curious. Anyway, the book, and characters, are growing on me.

I have to agree. (view spoiler)[I think having the humour in the book lightens the subject matter a bit without taking away from it. Also, it's kind of like her signature to have some sort of humour in her books, isn't it? I really like the camera-type dialogue/narration. (hide spoiler)] I hope she writes another YA novel! Have you read her Shopaholic series? If so, do you like it?
