William Lindsey | 31 comments Is there a Goodreads policy limiting the number of quotes from a book that one can add at a given time?

I have never found any problems entering several quotes at one time until the past two weeks. Now, I can enter only one quote before I encounter an error message, and I have to wait hours to add a subsequent one.

I'm being told that there's a Goodreads policy in place dictating this process. If so, is it publicly available? Since I contribute regularly to this platform by adding quotes from books I've read (and occasionally writing reviews and interacting with material added by other users), I'd like to know the guidelines and policies that are in place as I use the platform.

Scott | 11964 comments It was suggested to you that that might be the reason. GR has a lot of problem with junk being added to the quotes by fake users.

If you want to know what the actual policy or mechanics are, contact support.
