This I find to be a mystery (not the book, although it is a mystery for some) but this is a real mystery:
On Crime, Mysteries & Thrillers - The Coffeeshop - Book Reviews - POST THEM HERE: Kelly Lee posted the review copied below. It has since been taken down. That I find rather strange (a real mystery) and can only surmise it was taken down by Kelly Lee. Very odd. Since it has 'gone', I thought I'd post it here:

I quote: "The Roads Chosen is a work centered on choice, responsibility, and life's crossroads. It does not attempt to provide a "correct answer," but rather, through the characters' experiences, confronts readers with a question that is ever present yet often overlooked: Is our life driven by fate, or shaped by the choices we make?
The most compelling aspect of the work lies in its honest portrayal of the consequences of choice. The characters do not make heroic, flawless decisions. Instead, their choices are often tinged with hesitation, self interest, fear, and even misjudgment. It is precisely this imperfection that lends the story its authenticity and restraint. The author seems to remind us: what truly matters in life is not whether a choice is glamorous, but whether you are willing to bear the consequences that follow.
The Roads Chosen avoids overt sentimentality, yet emotional tension remains ever present. Many passages resonate deeply the roads abandoned, the possibilities left unfulfilled, and the complex emotions that surface in hindsight. It makes one realize that every path chosen means countless others closed off, and regret isn't necessarily failure, but part of growth.
Thematically, the book carries distinct philosophical undertones. It explores not just personal destiny, but also reflections on free will, responsibility, and the irreversibility of time. The author refrains from judging the characters' choices, leaving that judgment to the reader. This restraint lends the work a mature, enduring quality.
Overall, The Roads Chosen is a quiet yet powerful piece. It's best read during moments that demand reflection when you stand at a crossroads in life or look back on past decisions. Like a mirror, it reflects your own choices and state of mind."
