Elizabeth (elizabethlk) | 379 comments This is hard. I really enjoy eating foods from other cultures. I try lots of restaurants and go to the local international food festival. I typed some keywords into my tbr (which is over 2k books) to find cooking related things I've saved, and it was hard to find much of anything where I can really honestly say I've never tried it. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on what other folks are suggesting or reading, because extra ideas would be great.

As of right now I have two possible ideas. My list does include Vibration Cooking or the Travel Notes of a Geechee Girl by Vertamae Smart-Grosvenor, and since I've never eaten Gullah Geechee food specifically, this would work. My other thought is to read a cookbook from a culture that I have eaten foods from but specifically to try a dish I've never had before.
