Basil Godevenos (basilgodevenos) Thanks for pointing this out. Lots of things to add to the list there!

Brendan (mistershine) | 58 comments Charlie Anders is hardly playing fair here putting up UKLG as the first image. I may be biased since Le Guin is probably my favourite living author and a personal hero of mine, but that straight up seems like cheating.

Also, I've heard a lot of praise from various sources regarding Paulo Coelho, and since I kind of trust you guys: has anyone read him to confirm that he is as good as I've heard?

Rich Boulton (rich_boulton) | 41 comments Good find, that's a lot of books to check out. I'd be interested in which of them can be seconded by someone here - given that it's a user list you might end up with the occasional oddity in there (like Harry Potter...)

Hmm, I've never read any Le Guin -- I'm really interested in Left Hand of Darkness, but it's not available in audiobook, so I won't get to it anytime soon. Maybe I'll check out the Dispossessed after I finish my current book.

Marion Hill (kammbia1) Interesting choices. I would like to add Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin. His command of language and the ability to intertwine fantasy and reality was at its best in this novel. One of my favorite all-time reads. The movie was terrible.
