I received this yesterday December 3rd ar 9:10 pm

Goodreads
Hello reader,

In the coming weeks, we will be making some updates to how messaging works on Goodreads.

What's Changing?
• Direct messages between individual members will no longer be available
• Images and external links will no longer be supported in messages

While direct messages between individual members are no longer available, you can still access your past messages from your inbox, Group moderators can still send broadcast messages to their group members, and you can still send group invitations to your Goodreads friends. All other public interactions, such as writing and responding to book reviews, remain unchanged.

This will make it more difficult when you as a member of NTLTRC to contact one of the Moderators or another Member privately with concerns or questions.

It will not change us Broadcasting a message to the group but you will not be able to message us back with questions.

Supposedly we will not be able to use outside weblinks either.
They have not clarified if it will just be in the Direct/Private Messages or in Comments either. As once your comment is posted it reads as a Message with a number.

We do not use a lot of outside weblinks.
I have heard this will make things much more difficult for the goodreads librarians though.

My Question?
Do you have thoughts on how we could make things easier for our group? Think about when you have a concern or an issue with another member. You will not be able to message Rosemarie or myself or any of the Mods.

Please share any thoughts you might have.

Phrodrick slowed his growing backlog | 250 comments Over the years I have used DMs a lot of way. Only a few associate with particular general discussions, and then it is on a DM because it is not something for everyone.
ETA: Some rooms have , what are to me complex rules, DM to a mod has always solved what was most often my problem and not generally an issue.

Is it a coinsurance, or just a few of us getting a lot of code on some of our efforts to like a review?

Posting is a lottery-you may be able to post the first time, the second time you get code.

The pink large error box is a different thing. Its what we call a glitch. It also is coming up when you "Like" a review or something in your news feed on your personal home page. You may have to refresh a couple times before it takes it.

This morning we had thought it might be them starting to shut things down but it is what usually happens on the first of the month, when it's overload time for goodreads.

Almost sounds reasonable. I am usually pretty good at waiting
