Question regarding new Goodreads policy and links

I received an email this morning stating that Goodreads was changing their policy regarding external links in messages, stating that external links will no longer be supported.

So, my question: If we add a book (or edition) that isn't listed on Amazon and request a cover to be added, how do we manage the external links for this?

I was informed that as long as the book/edition was listed on our websites or the publisher website, then the book cover could be added. But if external links will no longer be supported, how do we report that information?
