i think their motivation is safety. but for survivors of harassment, especially with harassers WHO WERE NOT REMOVED EVEN AFTER RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS OF REPORTS, pms are an incredibly important way to give/receive support. without pms, i would have such little friends on gr. there is literally no other way to privately talk other than creating a private/secret group, which is still A GROUP.
what is so wrong with wanting basic privacy for one-on-one conversations??
*also sorry if you did not want to see this, i and many others just see pms as such a huge part of our community, and we cannot stand to see them go.
