Yay!Now, we can read for any task in any set, right? Not having to do them in order this time?
Because I will need to read my Sci-fi P&P by the end of December, and while we're good, I'm not sure we're "complete the entire challenge in two weeks" good ๐คฃ

Indeed, no set order this time, we can grab any tasks and also a book can be used for 1 "regular" + 1 bonus task. :)
I probably won't be much use during the first couple of weeks (I usually read little to nothing during the last couple of weeks of the year), and things will get a little funky after that because my books will all be boxed up for a few months, but I will do my best.I'll attempt to bear in mind tasks for this challenge when I box everything, and move some of the more useful ones into the one box I plan to unpack while staying with my parents while waiting for our new house ๐
No worries, Sammy, we'll take it easy! ๐After Wheels is over, I will also slow down with hols and everything. Will need some random, slow-reading to recharge the batteries. ๐
While we can still message, would U send me your email adress in a PM so I can share the sheet with you?
Welcome aboard Ashley! We're a no pressure, read as much or as little as you want, kind of team.
Oh and everyone, it's Ashley's fault I have to read the sci-fi P&P book, as she's making me read a book with "planet" in the title for another challenge ๐

Mel, the removal of images will derail our plans for this!also, no external links? There go the Spreadsheet challenges!
Oh, ok. Kinda by-the-by when you can't DM people in the first place, I guess. I suspect it'll just be a first step though. Next step will be "subscribe to premium if you want to retain these features across the site" ๐
yeah....a premium charge model makes a kinda sense, otherwise it's moving backwards towards more the LibrayTHing / StoryGraph model
and if that's the case, I'd rather just use StoryGraph to record reading!
Agreed. I'm annoyed. And LT is just ugh! Sammy wrote: "Oh and everyone, it's Ashley's fault I have to read the sci-fi P&P book, as she's making me read ..."
Sammy - whoops! Sorry!
Ironically, the one thing I wish they'd do something about they are keeping.I'm so tired of being invited to the same group by the same people again and again. I've several times resorted to unfriending people because they wouldn't stop sending invites to groups I didn't want to join ๐

Isn't that the truth! I've done the same - and I usually go through once or twice a year and delete myself from groups... ๐
Ashley wrote: "Sammy - whoops! Sorry!"I'll forgive you. It's not like it's the first dubious book I'll have read for challenges this year (or this week! ๐)

Is that so? ๐คญ
On a happier note (I've been so upset about bl**dy Amazon/GR yesterday the whole evening... was wondering if we should whip up a donation for poor Jeff to compensate for the dent his Venice wedding caused to his finances and make him leave GR alone!)my special made-to-order bookcase has just arrived (it was a welcome early Xmas present from myself to myself).
The small company I ordered it from, had a limited offer for customers: putting 7 their favourite books on the cover of the bookcase.
Obviously it was hard to limit myself to 7, but here is the result and I find it lovely. The socks came as extra. ๐
Sammy wrote: "Love the hedgehog too!"A friend gave it to me ages ago. ๐
And the comfy armchair was hubby's b'day present (view spoiler).
Awww, that's a great present. And it looks so comfy! And I am rapidly heading towards that particular birthday myself... yikes!

Yes, it is v comfy, now I should just find the time to sit more often in it.๐คฃ Currently Domi is claiming first dibs, saying that the wifi signal in our room is so much stronger than in his, but I occasionally manage to kick him out.
