Really interesting concept — cursed perfumes and a broken, morally grey perfumer? That’s a fresh idea. If you can share a short excerpt or the blurb, I’d be glad to check it out. Always happy to support dark, atmospheric fantasy writer

His art is beautiful, inevitable—and deadly.
Marcel’s creations aren’t perfumes—they’re weapons designed to twist emotions, corrupt hearts and grant him dangerous power. But mastery demands sacrifice. At the Paris School of Enchanted Perfumery, his talent draws envy, dread, and perilous attention.
To perfect his craft, Marcel ventures into forbidden realms—from smoke-thick brothels to haunted gardens, and even into the heart of Hades. Each rare essence brings him closer to triumph…and closer to damnation.
As his brilliance curdles into hunger, the line between perfumer, predator, and monster begins to dissolve.
A perfumer whose fragrances were never meant for skin—but to embody nightmares.

It’s a dark fantasy where every perfume hides a curse. It follows the footsteps of Marcel, a perfumer with a very gifted nose, who goes on various adventures to source rare and magical ingredients to create his enchanted perfumes (yes, I am a real-life perfumer).
Marcel is NOT a main character to be liked. He is beautifully broken, morally grey and, at times, a monster.
The book is live on Amazon. If you want to know more about the vibe before you dive in, I’m happy to share a quick blurb and comps in the comments.
I would appreciate it hugely if you can review it on Amazon and/or Goodreads.
The first five people who reach out will be sent an EPUB for FREE.
Thank you kindly.
