Ash | 271 comments OMG, I just finished the final chapter and I cried such(mostly) happy tears. This was such a great manga series and the ending was almost perfect. I don't think any chapter I read in Pandora Hearts failed to be entertaining. I'm so glad it ended well, because quite a few stories don't. Pandora Hearts will always be one of my favorite mangas.

Lára | 185 comments I´ll try to be as honest as possible here.
I did not like this manga that much.

It might be viewed as an intelligent or super sensitive or whatever by the public. I, personally, see it as utterly flat. No imotions involved at all. I feel completely indifferent to the whole series.

Sure, Alice in Wonderland chains are cool, but Carroll Lewis made them cool not the mangaka of this series (and yes I really do hate when anyone take previously created characters, or historical figures or mythological creatures as a part of their work (it starts with 0 stars and if the story (the stolen one, thats it) is amazing I might give it as far as 3 stars, not more!) - the whole series, while they might be somewhat unpredictable to someone (not to me, fortunately) is just trying to be fabulous but just make it to barely readable in my eyes.

I understand it´s one of the most popular manga series, but I really don´t see what´s great about it. I don´t care about any character instead of Vincent and Burma (view spoiler)

I don´t think I´ll ever re/read this series. I barely remember the names of the 4 main characters (if that´s all of them), except the Alice that I honestly can´t stand - she is the no.1 character that I hate. I really wish they´d all died. It would be a nice ending to not so nice series.

Ash | 271 comments I actually would nit read this series for a long time because of the reasons you mentioned. However, something made me start reading it, and I was hooked before I knew it. And I am the type who has a tendency to really not like the more popular series everyone else seems to just adore. But Pandora Hearts got to me, I loved it. It just goes to show you never know.
