The day before Josie is to return to work, she goes to the cemetery to visit Ray’s grave and discovers the dead body of Krystal Duncan, a woman who had been reported missing days before. The woman who actually found Krystal, Dee Tenney, was also the mother of two of the children, along with Krystal’s daughter, who were killed in a school bus accident two years ago. Do you understand why Josie continues to visit Ray’s grave? Is it odd that Ray is so understanding or it’s in his nature? Did it feel coincidental at the time that Dee discovered Krystal’s body given their connection?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 3009 comments I understand why she visits Ray's grave. He was her rock and the reason she survived her childhood relatively sane. She works things out in her head by talking it over with him.

Noah is remarkably understanding about this. I think he views it as a crutch for Josie and hopes that someday she won't need Ray's memory so much.

I felt that Dee discovering Krystal's body wasn't a coincidence. It felt staged to me and Dee was meant to find her.
