I don't get it.

There is an author profile already for this author:

You claim this profile is no longer used by you? You mean it was once used by you?

It seems to me that this profile isn't claimed at the moment
Or was it used by you and you were kicked out of the Author program?
Sorry to bother you with this, but I never saw such a situation occur, so I'm curious.

And it is linked to the author profile, where it should be.

We can't link it to your profile, as you have a regular user profile, and not an Author profile.

I'd say you can just claim the Author profile, but maybe I'm misssing something.

Hello! Here’s the situation: the profile that was created as the author of the book A Pulga Salta Pocinhas e os Grãos de Areia must have been made a few years ago to add that book, but it wasn’t created by me — it was probably made by whoever added the book to Goodreads, maybe the publisher.
The thing is, I am the author of that book and also of the one I recently asked to be added (which you’ve already done, and I appreciate it).
This new book, At Night the Feet Are Cold, is from another, more recent publisher of mine.

In the meantime, I created a regular user profile because I didn’t know how to make an author profile.
I would like to link both books to my current profile, which already has my photo (the same one that appears on the inside flap of the book).
Could you please tell me how I can do that? How can I have this page recognized as my author page so that you can add these books to my profile?
