I'm a new author to Goodreads. It has been incredibly confusing & difficult to get all my books onto my dashboard. Site won't let me "add" a book because it's already in the system. Must all adds go through a librarian? If so, are you the correct authority? How will I know that you have responded to my request? Please add the following two books to my dashboard: ISBN 978-0-9828392-8-7 and ISBN 978-0-9828392-3-2. If you can't do that, please tell me why not and how I should proceed. Thank you. Margaret F. 2. Do not add a request onto an existing request in the Superlibrarian folder, as it creates confusion

3. The message is self-explanatory. You cannot add a book to the catalogue if it already exists in the catalogue.
4. Must all adds go through a librarian? If so, are you the correct authority? — Goodreads authors can add their own books; otherwise, requests for adding new books or editions belong in the Adding New Books & Editions folder. 5. How will I know that you have responded to my request? — Select the "Notify me when people comment" option, and the system will display an alert on the bell-shaped icon at the top of right-hand side of the web page.
6. Please add the following two books to my dashboard: ISBN 978-0-9828392-8-7 and ISBN 978-0-9828392-3-2. — You are the only one who can see your dashboard. As you discovered, the books are already in the catalogue: • https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

These two books are listed under your author name: Margaret F. Merritt
If you can't do that, please tell me why not and how I should proceed. — They are not appearing under your Goodreads author account because you changed your author account name from Margaret F. Merritt to Margaret F. Merritt Ph.D.
Goodreads policy is that degrees (such as PhD) are not included as part of the author name. You can fix this yourself by reverting your edit of the name change in your author profile. I have submitted a request to Support for this name correction, so you also have the choice of waiting for Support to fix it.
Once the author name on your Goodreads profile has been corrected, those two books will appear on your Goodreads author page.

It doesn't look like it. They might have been recombined with the parent group. Ｂｅｅｌａｈ, if you'll provide the link to the two books in question, I'll merge then recombine.
