Isis | 233 comments Todd bit at his lower lip for a minute then he nodded before realizing that Kadence couldn't see a nod through the phone. "Ok. I'll be there tomorrow morning at regular time. Should I pack clothes or anything, do you think?" He wasn't entirely sure how long he was being invited for, all three days or just for the trip. He sort of hoped it was all three days and he was being asked to help on the project, but he didn't voice this opinion.

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments After hearing Todds response, Kadence thought for a bit. "Ok, um, yes, I do want you to pack some stuff for the trip. I am not sure how long we will be there, so I suggest to pack the necessities, and I will do the same, that sound fine?" He suggested. Kadence really was looking forward to the trip. He would get to spend some time with Todd, and they would get to bond more. He just hoped that the trip will go well, and that everything will be all right.

Isis | 233 comments "Alright, well I'll see you in the morning Kadence. Thank you for inviting me along. I'm flattered," Todd said, his voice making it obvious that he was smiling. Then, he hung up the phone and immediately started packing for the upcoming trip. He found he was rather excited though he knew that this trip would likely be a bit dangerous, or at least being in the Capitol would be dangerous. The ruler really didn't have a good reputation, but on the bright side he would be spending time with Kadence. He had wanted to spend time with the man for a long time, outside of work.

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments "Ok, bye. See you tomorrow," Kadence replied. He always loved how happy, and energetic Todd always seemed to be. He could tell on the phone that he was smiling, which he always seemed to be doing. As Kadence was packing for the trip, he was thinking about what the trip was going to be like. He was excited he got to spend time with Todd outside of a work environment, sort of. One thing he did know was that it was a little dangerous in the Capitol, and the people there weren't very nice. Their leader also had a bad reputation. If he didn't like something, or someone, they/it seemed to disappear. Kadence was really hoping that he would like his clothes, but there was one problem, Kadence had no idea what to do for the clothes.

The next morning Kadence was in the entrance area of the building waiting for Todd. As he checked his watch, he noticed that Todd still had a few minutes to be here, but he knew that it wasn't that bad to be early. Just as he was finishing his thought, he saw Todd stroll through the front doors. "Hey, you ready to beigin the adventure?" He asked him.

Isis | 233 comments Todd grinned and nodded his head. "Yeah I'm totally ready," he said, holding up his small travel bag as if that would prove this. "Are we going to be taking your car?" he asked, "And is it just going to be us? I just realized that I never even asked that before." He shrugged and looked around to see if anyone else was all packed up and ready to go with them, maybe Kadence's assistant since it seemed she was always around for him. "And I brought breakfast." He held the box in his hand a little higher. "Donuts, if you're interested."

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments Kadence smiled at Todd. He always knew what was best, and the perfect things to talk about, and to bring. "No, no one else will be coming with us." He told Todd. "My assistant, Jocelyn, will be taking care of the company in our absence. I already cleared it with her, and she seems perfectly capable for such a high responsibility." Kadence finished. "And yes, we will be taking my car," he commented, and he grabbed the box from Todds hands, took out a donut, and started to eat it. They walked towards the car, and got in. Kadence in the drivers seat, and Todd in the passengers. "Ok, so I have estimated that it would take about 36 hours to get to the Capitol." Kadence informed, letting Todd know.

Isis | 233 comments Todd let out a long breath then nodded. "We'll be spending a lot of time in this car together then," he said, but he was smiling. "That's ok with me if it's ok with you. Oh, and I'm really glad that you left Jocelyn in charge. She's a very smart girl and she's more than capable of taking care of the company." He really was glad for the girl. He knew how hard she worked and how smart she actually was. How she was only an assistant, he had no idea, but he didn't want to harp on it. "So, any ideas for this line that you're supposed to be making?"

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments "Haha, yeah. It is fine with me. I mean, it's not like we are sworn enemies. I mean, we are colleagues, and sort of friends I guess." Kadence pointed out, chuckling. "And yes, I was glad that I left her in charge. Jocelyn is a good kid, and I knew that she could take care of herself, and of the company. She is truly an amazing person." Kadence complimented Jocelyn, even though she wasnt there. "Ah, that is the golden question. I have no idea what to make the leader. I was thinking maybe something old fashioned, like from the time of magic. I was also thinking that you might be able to help me with this." He told Todd, taking out his sketch book, while driving, which was completely dangerous.

Isis | 233 comments Todd reached over and stopped Kadence's hands. "Yeah maybe you shouldn't do that while you're driving. You focus on the rode. I'll write down what you have in mind if that's what you want, but I don't want to die before we even get to the Capitol." He opened up the sketch book and flipped to a blank page. "Alright, so you're thinking something old fashioned. How about we add some elegance to that idea? Or sleekness. I think one of the two would be fitting for this particular project."

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments Kadence chuckled a but. "Haha, that is true. We don't want to die before we get to the Capitol." Kadence commented. He was really glad he decided to bring Todd along. So far, he was being a great help to Kadence. "Yeah, so something old fashioned wou,d be great. I did some research, and I have a few sketches of some clothing ideas,if you turn to the page or two before that one, you will see." Kadence told him. "Yeah, I think elegance wou,d be great."

Isis | 233 comments Todd flipped the pages, looking at the sketches thoroughly as he always did. "I love the first sketch. I think it would work wonderfully, particularly in a shade of red. The second sketch feels like it's missing just a little something. Maybe some kind of accessory? I don't know. When you have a chance to look we can see what it really needs to make it pop."

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments Kadence was nodding as Todd was speaking. "Ok, great idea. We will look this stuff over when we both have a chance to look at it." He told him, nodding his head. Kadence kept his eyes in the road, and couldn't wait to be out of the car. He hated driving, and he just hated being in a car itself.

((Hey, wanna skip to the end of the car ride, or...!))

Isis | 233 comments ((Yeah that works for me. I'll start off.))

It had been a long three days getting to the Capitol, but once they were there Toby couldn't seem to keep his mouth from falling open in awe. Everything looked so extravagant and over-the-top. It was beautiful and gaudy all at the same time. Todd couldn't tell if he wanted to be a part of it or if he wanted to run far away from it. He could see the home of the ruler too, and it was huge, magnificently huge. "Wow," he breathed.

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments Kadence agreed with what Todd was saying. The spittle was absolutely amazing. The builds were o huge, and tall that Kadence had a hard time wondering how they stayed up. The people there had extravagant hair does, and truly magnificent clothing. He looked and could immediately tell which building was the one that belonged to their leader. It was the only one that wasn't all nice, and cheery, and bright, it was dark and brooding, and a little creepy. "Well, I guess we have to go there then." Kadence commented, mooing king out the building,

message 65: by Isis (new)

Isis | 233 comments Todd looked toward the building and sighed. He nodded just a bit. "Yeah, I guess that is where we have to go," he said, though he was suddenly nervous. No one had really ever been inside the ruler's home and he had a feeling it was for a reason. He didn't know if he would ever come out of that placed the same, or even at all.

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments Kadence solemnly nodded. "Yeah. Well, I guess we better get going," he commented, slowly walking towards the building. He really didn't want to go inside. No one has ever really been in there, and if they have, no one has ever came back out, or if they have, they weren't willing to tell anyone what it was like

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments ((Sorry it took so long. I was camping))

Isis | 233 comments ((It's all good. I've been busy writing a paper anyway haha.))

Todd swallowed hard then followed after Kadence. He slipped his hand into the other man's before shrugging. "Sorry, I'm a bit of a baby and holding a hand tends to help. If you pull away I'm just going hug onto your arm." He looked at Kadence and bit his lower lip lightly.

Travis {Ποια λύκος θα ταΐζετε ;} | 206 comments ((SO SORRY!!!! I AM SO SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO REPLY!! OH MY GOSH!!!!))

Kadence felt a little weird and awkward. People were giving them weird glances, and he grew red to the face. "its, its fine. Just do it. I can understand that you must be feeling really freaked out. I know I am." He could tell that Todd was a little embarassed as well. With that, he finally entered the building, not knowing what to expect. It was all dark, and he couldnt see anything. All of a sudden, there was a shuffling noise behind them.
