Trials of the Unknown is a dystopian psychological thriller about survival, fear, and identity. It follows Ariyike “Ari” Morayo Adebajo, a Nigerian girl who finds herself trapped in a mysterious government-controlled facility along with hundreds of other young adults from around the world. Each participant is forced to face a series of deadly tests—tests that don’t just challenge their bodies, but their minds, memories, and deepest fears.
Every round strips them down further, exposing who they truly are when survival is the only rule. For Ari, it’s not just about staying alive—it’s about holding onto her faith, her sense of self, and the fragments of humanity that the system seems determined to destroy. Alongside a cast of flawed yet unforgettable characters, she discovers that the greatest battle isn’t against the facility’s twisted experiments, but against the darkness within each of them.
This book is about fear. It’s about trauma. It’s about what happens when people are pushed to their breaking point—and still choose to hope. Trials of the Unknown explores grief, courage, faith, friendship, and rebellion in a world where every choice comes at a cost.
